Leigh Bennie's interesting programmes on Cape Talk/Radio 702 were listened to by many people. Her "A word on..." series was educational and had people queuing on the phone lines to chat about the issue of the evening.
Her always cheerful, 'smiling' voice is really missed and there is a huge void when we are unwinding after a busy day.
Please Cape Talk/Radio 702 reconsider your bad decision. There is enough sport on TV to satisfy sports fanatics and with the dismal state of education in this country we need exposure to all the educational topics Leigh covered.
