Built Environment exam entrance allowance.

Whom it may concern

The 2016 strikes took a big toll on each and every student, lecturer and worker at the University of Pretoria.

As a lot of other faculties allowed their students exam entrance, we would like to make a petition to receive exam allowance as well.

We do understand that we are currently busy studying for a BSc degree and that it will be unreasonable to expect that it must be easy to get our degrees. We therefor like to propose the following:

* Each student receives exam entrance for their modules.

* The student must still get a 50% final mark to be allowed to pass the module. For example: If you have a semester mark of 28% you must mark out 72% for the exam to get a 50% pass.

The students pays for their tuition. If they do not pass the exam, it will be their risk regarding fees. 

We really want to meet the lecturers, students and faculties haflway. Therefor we hope that they want to do it as well. 

Under the circumstances we had during the semester, we must do our best to accomodate everyone.
