Inquiry into threats and violence against women MPs and local authority representatives

Women MPs and local elected officials face threats and attempts at intimidation for their views far in excess of Male politicians. We call for an investigation into the threats and intimidation to look at ways this blatant attempt to use bullying for political ends.  

MPs  Meterei Turei, Golriz Ghahraman, Judith Collins, Ex PM Jacinda Ardern, Sara Templeton (councillor Chch) were and may still all be subject to threats, abuse, slander about them, their families and their partners and intimidatory threats.  
We call on Parliament to set up an inquiry into this trend, suggest protections for all MPs. Male and female, and see what we can do as a nation to ensure we get diverse representation, and suggest causes and solutions for this toxicity.
