This poor child needs the medical facilities NZ can provide. Why would you send this child and her family back to Tonga where it's likely she will die. Have a heart NZ, keep this beautiful princess and her family here where they belong!

(Auckland, 2017-07-27)

#402

All in gods hands! She deserves this treatment

(Auckland, 2017-07-27)

#403

If I was in this situation I would hope for the same.

(Auckland, 2017-07-27)

#408

A lot of people are given presidency here in NZ and in this case this family should be given the priority. This is a human life we are talking about. The opportunity for their child's life lays here in NZ. Have a heart. God Bless the family and noho kaha me te whai whakapono (stay strong and have faith).

(Auckland, 2017-07-27)

I've known Maggie since I first went to Tonga. She's such a great person. It hurts me to know that immigration want to deport them back. Love and prayers to you and your family sis xx

(Canberra, 2017-07-27)

#416

This family already have enough stress to deal with.

(Titirangi, 2017-07-27)

#417

If this is the only way Moriah can receive the best treatment for her condition, then we all need to show support.

(Auckland, 2017-07-27)

#418

They deserve a better life than the one they have they are doing everything by the book and there is a working person so why not let them give there children a begter life. Sending her back is a death sentence.

Obviously baby Moriah and her family needs help and support..as NZ citizens we should have a say aswell and I say LET THEM STAY!!! It's commonsense really, they shouldn't even think twice about it. A life is priceless so who are we to play God. Come on NZ government have a heart and do the right thing!

(Auckland, 2017-07-28)

#427

Let this beautiful family stay in nz and care for their daughter !

(Wellington, 2017-07-28)

#431

This is wrong we should be helping the poor girl

(Auckland, 2017-07-28)

#434

...this is about life and death. I always choose LIFE.

(Hamilton, 2017-07-28)

#437

This is for a childs life. For a family that has paid taxes to live here.

#439

I believe this little girl deserve an opportunity like any other human being.

(Perth, 2017-07-28)

#442

They need to be allowed to stay in Nz, we have criminals that have been allowed to enter into Nz but it would be such a disgrace to not allow such good people in, what would that show the world,

(Perth, 2017-07-28)

#444

Because I've grown to know this beautiful humble family. They've been there for me when times were tough and if signing this can help them I will sign. This family deserves to be in New Zealand. Ofa atu Maggie, Filipe and kids xxx

(Sydney, 2017-07-28)

#446

Because this baby and her family DESERVE IT ! and sure has EARNED IT !

(Auckland, 2017-07-28)

#448

I am a New Zealand citizen. Moriah needs to stay is this beautiful country we all call home in the hope that she has the BEST POSSIBLE care and LIFE that any innocent person/baby deserves. It is not her nor her parents fault for the condition she is in, she is a blessing from THE BIG MAN ABOVE. We are not cruel people, do not punish this beautiful soul over money! I would rather my money go to a real cause like this sweet baby girl and her family whom are in desperate need rather than waisting it on other pointless things.... May God guide them (Ministry Of Immigration) in doing what is right for both this family and the nationwide community!!!! Arohanui tona whanau

(Auckland, 2017-07-28)

#450

I believe this family should be able to stay. They have worked hard while they have been here, and should not be forced back to Tonga where is there is no appropriate medical care for their daughter.

(Auckland, 2017-07-28)

#451

I feel that immigration laws don't represent what kiwi's attitudes in general are toward people who wish to settle in NZ. Most kiwis I know want to help people in need.

(Wellington, 2017-07-28)

#452

I live in Tonga, the health care system here is far from being able to serve this baby. New Zealand - our closest neighbour with adequate health facilities and close ties to Tonga. Tongans have been migrating to your shores, New Zealand was a country of immigrants. Give this family a compassionate pass and let them get residency. Its the moral thing to do.

(Neiafu, 2017-07-28)

#453

this kiwi kid deserves it...rightly so she is kai tangata born to our Aotearoa shores... god bless you darling prayers for miracles and love... some politicians think from their a.holes not their brains... grrrrrr

(Sydney, 2017-07-28)

Ofa lahi atu moe lotu babyGirl xxoo

(Auckland, 2017-07-28)

#497

I believe this baby and her family belong in NZ and deserve the chance to keep their baby girl alive. Our immigration laws seem to favour people with money and that is grossly unfair.

(Auckland, 2017-07-28)

#500

I have a heart

(Timaru, 2017-07-28)

#521

This baby and her family need help and medical attention from New Zealand.....I support this family and would like them to stay here and get all the help they need. Please keep them here in New Zealand.

(Auckland, 2017-07-28)

#523

Fear Honourable Minister of Immigration,

I believe this family should be granted permanent residency for the sake of their child Moriah. Their history shows them to be a hardworking family. Baby Moriah deserves to live comfortably after all that she has been through. Thank you

(Auckland, 2017-07-28)

#525

It's the least I can do for her family.

(Auckland, 2017-07-28)

#527

Supporting a child's best interest for the family to stay together and help baby Moriah and to keep her in NZ for survival.

(Auckland, 2017-07-28)

#535

Moira needs medical care and sending her to Tonga where they don't facilitate for her needs is like giving her the rope. Moira is in the best hands here in NZ. Don't send her or the family away....

(Rotorua, 2017-07-28)

#540

I'm signing because every life deserves a chance.

(Auckland, 2017-07-28)

#542

I'm signing because every life deserves a chance.

(Auckland, 2017-07-28)

#548

I believe that they are good people and have the right to stay, they should be granted residency on the grounds that one of them must remain in work.

(Edgecumbe, 2017-07-28)

#550

Deporting her to Tonga would be like signing her death certificate. This family has been in Aotearoa for 10 years, and they have contributed to this nation (through their jobs, their involvement in community etc) just as a citizen would. We as a nation should be supporting them more than ever, instead of turning our backs on them when they have already been hit hard. Aotearoa is a land about the people, not about bureaucracy for the sake of bureaucracy. My hope is Minister, that you will do the right thing and let this family remain here indefinitely,

(Palmerston North, 2017-07-29)

#553

Everyone deserve a chance at life. Just imagine if this child was declined for care and dies, how stink would the parents feel. Everything will run through their head, what if, what if..... No one deserve to lose a child. Give this precious baby girl a chance.

(Levin, 2017-07-29)

#557

They have been contributing to new zealand society. For them to go home is death sentence that child.

(Auckland, 2017-07-29)

#562

Its the right thing to do

(Auckland, 2017-07-29)

#563

Love to everyone

(Auckland, 2017-07-29)

#564

I think this family deserves to stay in New Zealand. For Moria's sake, she is better off here in NZ.

(Auckland, 2017-07-29)

#565

Because I think it's right for them to be allowed to stay in New Zealand, the baby needs all the treatmeant ! It's wrong to let a child like her suffer !

(Auckland, 2017-07-29)

#567

I'm signing because Moriah should live, if immigration deports the family she will die and the family will loose a precious innocent soul, and nz will be looked at as murderers. This can be changed

(Auckland, 2017-07-29)

#568

this little girl deserves a chance at life. If my tax is going towards her medical bills .. so be it! I'd rather have my tax go towards a life then other unnecessary stuff.

(Auckland, 2017-07-29)

#570

I fully believe that its the best for both Moriah and her family to stay in New Zealand and its the right thing to do to help them as we are a country that is fortunate to have what we do. Life is precious.

(Auckland, 2017-07-29)

#571

I am signing this petition because this family deserves a break, to be able to take care of there children freely with the help of our country! NZ has great facilities that this family can benefit from, I strongly recommend that they become permanat residents.

(Auckland, 2017-07-29)

#572

I believe the government and country can help but by sending her home to Tonga she will not receive the treatment she needs to live.

(Auckland, 2017-07-29)

#576

I have children of my own and if this was to happen to me I would be disgusted in our government, we let so many immigrants stay already give them houses flash cars and most of our jobs so we should be giving this beautiful girl a chance to live as she was born here.

(Porirua, 2017-07-29)

#580

I want Moriah to live.

(Auckland, 2017-07-30)

(Auckland, 2017-08-08)

#592

How can they send this family home the child is a kiwi and has as much right to our health care and any other kiwi, sending this family back to tonga is signing the babies death warrant!

(Porirua, 2017-08-09)

#594

I am a mother, an advocate for families and Tangata Whenua. This family must stay in our homeland, it is part of Maori Tikanga to care for our Whanaunga.
