because i feel this argument is strongley one sided . People have been fishing these waters for years , generations . With having success of not catching dolphins yes i understand a few have been caught over the years people need to wake up and see what we are already losing .. say this passes and we cant fish ? Whos to say that in 10 years time dolphins are still dieing well it cant be the people fishing 🤔 so what next ? You gonna ban boats on the water too because of exhaust fumes ? 😂😂

I’m signing because I think is not the issue of local fishermen depleting fish stocks (Or killing dolphins) but the big corporations who rape out seas for huge profit. I am signing this petition as my family love to hunt and fish. These choices have been taken from us by the government that has not consulted the recreational and commercial fishers. My husband is a commercial fisherman that has fished in the Tasman and Golden Bays for over 35 years and has never caught a dolphin in his trawl net. My children love the thrill of setting a net off the beach and seeing what is in the net when bringing it in. These activities can feed our family. These activities also keep our children interested in what is happening in the wild....and keeps the off the streets away from drugs and alcohol.
