Website
2011-04-12 22:01:32Hi all
I am in the process of updating the website, and have added a News page (which is very new so a bit sparse!) which also has a public comments box.
Don't know what you think but maybe it would be good to get lots of comments on there?
Plus any news/ website improvement suggestions/ pictures/ general supportive info that could go on the site will be gratefully received!
cheers
Paul

Last day for comments to the council
2011-04-06 11:16:43Hi all
Objections to the council's LDF proposals have to be in by 5pm today
If you know of anyone who has not signed the petition, please encourage them to do so today - we will be emailing it to the council just before the deadline.
Also, of course, please send your own personal objections to the council - they are starting to grasp the depth of anger in Wrenthorpe, I hope!
After today, the proposals will go to the Government, so we intend to keep the pressure on -- this petition will stay up.
I have been informed that if 90% of the population object to proposed development, by law it cannot be allowed to happen. I will look further into this
Kind Regards
Rach

2011-04-02 12:54:36Great news, our campaign has been featured in the Yorkshire Post
Hopefully it will also feature in the YEP - and please try to get to the Wakey Express photoshoot at 10am on Monday - I know it is a bad time for many but a good crowd would be wonderful - at the "Keep Wrenthorpe" etc.sign at the corner od Bradford/Brandy Carr Roads
Thanks for your support, let's keep the pressure up - and increase it.

Press publicity
2011-04-01 14:39:21Hi all
We have sent a press release to the Wakefield Express, YEP and Yorkshire Post
The WE have provisonally arranged a photographer to take a pic at the "Keep Wrenthorpe a Village" sign, which is situated at the corner or Brandy Carr and Bradford Roads.
This is pencilled in for 10am on Monday. It would be great if we could see as many people as possible there.
If this changes we will let you know.
Best Regards
Rach
