On behalf of our 'Te Kotahitanga Marae Kapa Collective', we are pleased to share that we received a total of 30 signatures.
9 are beneficiaries by virtue of the TKMR Charter hapu of the marae that will be forwarded on your behalf in opposition to the relocation for the TKMR Beneficiaries Wananga to be held this weekend, 25-26 September.

2 identified having affiliation in some way to the marae that will be included to the petition being forwarded to the trust to research whakapapa for Trust whanau.
21 signatories are whanau whanui (general public to the beneficiaries) who's support will also be forwarded to the trust in support of our petition.

Thank you for the support from those who invitedly signed our petition that will be closing this evening at 10pm, Friday 24 September 2021.
While it is understood not all beneficiaries share our view in opposition to the relocation of the marae, we thank those who have given their support as whanaunga and hapu whanau whanui for this important kaupapa for the marae.
We all have our rights to exercise our rights as beneficiaries both for and against the proposal.
