OVERTURNED, NO R6 !!!

2024-08-23 13:26:21

Cindi Fowler emailed me and said the rezoning to R6 is overturned.  Ethos Inv. has to wait 2 years before they can submit another plan. Per Cindi - "they tried to get us to table at the last hour before the meeting started.  I said you had an opportunity to change the plan and you didn't, SO NO."

Cindi also said "Thank You for not giving up! That's what it takes to make changes."

It was a unanimous decision at the Metro Council Meeting yesterday to overturn the decision of the Planning Commision and that they couldn't believe that the Planning Commission ok'd this site plan.

Like I said, give Jesus the glory!

Thank you all for all the letters, emails, and going to the meetings to fight this horrible plan.

IT'S NOT OVER!!!!

2024-08-16 12:31:12

Dear everyone, Cindi Fowler emailed me and said that she has to convince 10 more colleagues to vote to overturn the case.  That vote happens next Thursday, Aug. 22,2024, at the Metro Council Meeting.  She hopes that if neighbors email council members between now and thursday it will help.  She said not to write just "we don't want apartments behind us," but other issues.  For example - needs to be lower density (not so many apartments), entrance at west pages, traffic issues, no bike or pedestrian safty, no elevators for elderly or wheelchair, flooding, no greenspace, firelane pavers.

To email the council members, its first.last@louisvilleky.gov.

Please email a note to any or all the Metro Council Members against the apartments at 4933 west pages lane O-177-24 (case no. 23ZONE122).

Sorry everyone, i thought it was done, but its not.

Give Jesus the glory!

Louisville Metro Government Meeting for Planning Committe Aug.13,2024

2024-08-14 11:42:07

The Lou. Metro Government Planning Committe voted to overturn the Planning Commission findings Tuesday, Aug.13, 2024. The property at 4933 West Pages Lane will remain an R4 residential.     Yea!  That means no apartments being built at this time.  I give the praise to Jesus!

The applicant of the apartment proposal needs to substitute a less density plan, not 3-story, a safer entrance to the property, and more green space.

Thank you for signing the petition and stopping these apartments being built.

Love Lisa Smothers

2024-07-12 15:06:16

Went to the Planning Commission meeting 7/11/24, yesterday.  They approved the rezoning.  We are going to have 78 new neighbors living in our backyards.

We lost.

Keep your faith in Jesus!

Public Hearing

2024-02-08 23:25:18

There was a LD&T meeting for 4933 w. pages lane, 23-ZONE-0122, today.  At the meeting, they decided to not schedule a Public Hearing and continue to another LD&T meeting for Feb. 22,2024.  Ethos Investments has to make revisions to their plan.

The Land Development and Transportation Committee decided to have changes made to the plan about the entrance into the proposed apartments, fire department access, and an appropriate Q-length report, which I think means how much traffic accumulates at the traffic light at West Pages and Dixie.

Again, thank you for your signatures and comments on the petition.

No to apartments @ 4933 West Pages Lane

2023-11-09 15:37:13

I have noticed at the website https://louisvilleky.gov/government/planning-design that Ethos Investments has requested a change to the rezone to R6, 23-ZONE-0122 for a 78 unit apartment complex instead of R7 96-unit apartment complex.  We are R4 and we want to stay that way.  Ethos investments has also applied for a waiver, 23-WAIVER-0166.  They also have a new "site plan" showing encroaching properties in the field.  Ethos Investments are the Encroachers.  So now we have to wait on the government to decide on that.  Keep writing your letters and emails to Jay Luckett, Metro Development Center, 444 S. 5th. St., 3rd Floor, Louisville, KY  40202.  jay.luckett@louisvilleky.gov also copy to cindi.fowler@louisville.gov

I sent a copy of the petition to Jay Luckett, Ethos Investments, and Cindi Fowler.
