Hi All,

We will have another signature table at the Sunward Centre this coming Saturday 3 December, as we need to collect physical signatures including contact details and ID numbers of all signatories.

So please support this initiative and come sign the petition in person between 09h00 and 13h00 in Saturday at the Sunward Centre near the pharmacy entrance.

Hi all Signatories of our Petition,

After consultation with our Ward 43 Councillor Bruce Reid recently, we have been informed that Ekurhuleni recently drafted a new Petitions Bylaw with specific requirements for certain information to be included for each person signing the petition as follows:

  • Initials / First name
  • Surname
  • ID number
  • Phone number
  • Signature

Persons signing a petition must also be resident in the same Ward to which the petition relates, so in our case it will be Ward 43 which includes the following areas: 

  • Sunward Park and all its extensions between Rondebult and Trichardts Roads
  • Groeneweide 
  • Klippoortjie
  • Dawn Park
  • Windmill Park
  • Ethembeni Park

We will be setting up a petition table at the Sunward Centre near the Sunward Park Hospital on Saturday 26 Nov and 3 Dec from 08h00 to 14h00, in order to collect signatures.

We therefore ask you to support our petition by visiting our table and signing the physical petition list, so that we can take this important matter to Ekurhuleni as a matter of urgency.
