crime in rosslyn gardens

Dear Sir/Madam

 Over the few months the residents of Rosslyn gardens/leopard rock in Pretoria, has been experiencing strings of robberies, cable theft and house break ins during the day. We, the community have tried all that we can to make sure that the attention is being paid to this, i.e. calling police, catching thieves and handing them over to SAPS but is like we are not being taken serious.  

We are being targeted and terrorised by thieves. Imagine being woken up at 3am because some thugs have dug a huge hole n cut the cable, like really? Until when? We had several meetings with the municipality to connect us to another substation but they are telling us about the budget. Did they budget for replacing the cable every week?

As the community we come up with solutions and a way forward but no one pays attention to them.   The community is standing together against this, and one way or the other, our requests should be listened to or should we follow the lead of others n cause riots then we will get attention? We demand answers.
