I know that the provision of a safe consumption site is the best thing that we, as a society, can to to support people who are in the throes of addiction. It's imperative that Victoria have such a site. Residents don't want one ion their area. This can be understandable. How can their minds be changed? Education is the key. Sent out information/education, but don't tell residents what is in their best interests. Simply inform and educate them. |
