Heidi is a beautiful, living creature of God who has not caused any lasting harm to anyone. A nip, or quick bite and retreat does not constitute a vicious animal. Heidi has been evaluated (at our expense) by two professional dog behavorists who state she is not viscous. The Village Board has these written evaluations. The Village, on the other hand, has never had Heidi evaluated by professional animal behavorists, Animal Control, or a veterinarian, which would be in compliance with the Illinois Animal Control Act. |
