Maxim Valeriyevich Stepanenko, leader of Russian Orthodox Church "sectology" website in Tomsk called "Towards Truth" (russian: "K Istine") asked indologist Irina Glushkova, member of Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Oriental Studies about Bhagavad-Gita and Bhagavd-Gita as it is, whether or not Krishna is a demon. She replied that according to Zoroastrian mythology, certain vedic deities are considered as opposite - as demons, though she didn't called Krishna to demon directly. However, Stepanenko, trying to find faults in hinduism and vedic culture, misinterpreted her words that: "she told that zoroastrians considered some beings as demoniac, while vedic culture deity-fied them". Thus Stepanenko concluded falsely that ISKCON asked Glushkova to support idea that "Krishna is demon". On his website he called three representatives of ISKCON as "three demons", supporting his conclusions by misrepresented quotes from Bible.
