This is a problem for me as I am just outside the area proposed to be boomed off - this will result in masses of additional traffic on Hawken road

Move the boom to the Corner of Ostrich and Hawken

This is the most we can cover without digging into a thorough way.

Putting booms at the propsoed corner would mean closing off all roads coming off of Tin which makes the process extremely difficult and less likely.

The costs behind a traffic study are extensive, and we will not be approved if booming off on corner of Hawken and Ostrich because of the roads importance.

Please note that the Nagtegaal and Hawken road will be open to alleviate morning and evening traffic, but with Hawken being controlled via a boom. The cars making use of the area currently pose significant risk to the houses within the petitioned area and thus we've pushed the fencing back as far as possible.

Please note that there will be further actions taken, with fibre camera's and dedicated security stationed throughout our area to address those outside of the closed access areas.

We have thought about these houses, and are working hard to find solution to a tricky problem.
