Gautrain Times

This is a petition to move South Africa's train public transport system forward. The Gautrain currently stops operating at 20:30, hours earlier than other train services around the world (which is understandable given the age of the Gautrain) but that is ridiculous.

 

Please sign this petition if you would like Gautrain to perform a week long trial run for the train service to stop at 22:30 (adding two hours to its service time) and see if people still use it. Many of us would like to commute till late between Johannesburg and Pretoria, but driving is becoming costly. Our public transport needs to evolve from being a simple luxury train to something that serves its true purpose.

We, the undersigned, challenge the Gautrain operators to entertain our request for the given time and if feasible and is used well by commuters, the times be extended permanently.
