Help Fix Our Road!

Hey everyone,

We are urging our local authorities for immediate attention to address the deplorable and deteriorating condition at the Carinda end of the Carinda/Warren road. This single lane, "sealed" road is afflicted by endless potholes, broken edging and flood damage from 2022 (pictured).

Parts of the road are in desperate need of slashing. The high grass making it difficult to notice wildlife running out, endangering the car occupants, car and wildlife. 

The daily commute is hazardous, causes damage to vehicles and endangers lives. Even more so in wet weather.

As the local school bus driver, I personally drive this road four times per day. Twice with primary school age kids on board.

This road is also the gateway to the iconic tourist attraction and native bird habitat, The Macquarie  Marshes, so we get many visitors passing through. 

We ask our local government to allocate resources and prioritize maintenance to ensure a safe, reliable, double laned road for everyone, residents and visitors alike.
