Let annual hire's of the Auckland Council venues have priority

This petition is to try and get the council to allow for loyal and annual customers and clubs to have a reserved spot in the venue they have been in for so long. One example is the club that I have been part of for the last 12 years. Titirangi Taekwondo is a long time club based in the Titirangi war memorial hall. This club has been at this same venue for over 30 years, providing activity, self defense, discipline and so much more to the community. The instructor of Titirangi Taekwondo has coached thousands of locals over these last 30 years. This club is one of what would be many different clubs of different sports and styles over all the venues available for hire from the council. A new rule has just been introduced which means first in first served for venue hire, this means if someone who is not an established club can easily book a club out of the venue like Titirangi Taekwondo, just by booking a few minutes before. If that happens then all the clubs which provide the community with a very good sport that encourages discipline, increases fitness and social interactions will not be able to continue this because someone else with far less people in their club has booked the venue for the time that the loyal and annual club has had for many many years.
