Young people today seem to be less interested in the issues of the world today. However, we believe it is important that people of every generation should know about local and global news stories which is why we have come up with My Met. My Met will be a newspaper for young people aged 15-25. The main idea is that it will be a more age appropriate newspaper branching from the well known newspaper The Metro. As well as conveying the news in a different way, we want this newspaper to be one of the only newspapers that focuses on the positive news stories rather than the negative as well providing solutions and positive responses to news that is seen as negative. We want to gain 200 signatures in order to go ahead with this idea and hope it will help us!!
