MOTHERS’ VOICE

If you are a mother, a daughter, a friend, a woman, then you know, or soon will know, how great (infinite and unconditional) a mother's love is for her children.

How much time, how much dedication, how much toil and how much giving up it takes until a child grows up. So that later, in the prime of life, when they should be enjoying life to the fullest, their sons are forced to go to war, to kill and be scarred for life, or to be killed.

Can a mother accept that her son is killed in a war, or that her son kills other mothers' children? NO. But only

a mother can cry out with all her heart # No son killed, no heart torn by grief

MOTHERS' VOICE

Thousands of soldiers have been killed in the war in Ukraine.

Thousands of lives have ended prematurely.

Thousands of young people and adults will be scarred for life by this war, or will remain with a stained conscience for the lives they took.

Thousands of mothers will have their hearts broken forever, because no one and nothing will be able to ease the bitter pain they will carry in their hearts for the rest of their lives. We are human beings, superior beings, and it is in our power not to generate conflicts, or accept the continuation of this suffering and tragedy, nor the loss of other sons, nor the breaking of other hearts with grief for life.

All we hold most precious is life and the natural environment without which we cannot exist and it is the obligation of each of us to respect and protect life, because the interest for life is above all other interests.

We, the women of the entire world, stand with all deeply grieving mothers and call for an immediate end to the war in Ukraine and a diplomatic solution to the conflict.
Every nation has sufficient natural resources and can trade for mutual benefit. Every nation has leaders who support cooperation, friendship and peace, who know the inestimable value of the human being and of life as a whole.

At the same time, we call for the International Day of Conscience on April 5, 2022, to conclude a worldwide Peace Treaty against war forever, as a full awareness and final acceptance that war is beneath the dignity of the human being.
