Petition AGAINST banning Thorpe Park's annual event- The Asylum
Due to the uproar in the BBC news, Katie Sutton has drafted a petition to ban 'The Asylum' a maze which constructs part of the well known and reputable Halloween event held each year at Thorpe Park (formally known as Fright Night). Not only will this be depriving the majority of adult members who annually pay out of choice to go to this event but it also deprives the purpose of celebrating the traditionalised festivities of Halloween within the western world. Katie has taken something so insignificant out of context. This has opened up to a huge controversial debate within the social media construct I.e twitter and Facebook. If it is found that more signatures are collected in opposition to Katie's petition it would be ideal that the government can ensure this annual event is not prohibited in further years to come; unless a genuine reason from a higher authority is specified. For further information see this link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-surrey-24612748
I have also requested for this petition to be documented on the HM Government's E-petition website- fingers crossed it will be approved within a week.
Please sign this petition and recommend it to your friends and family if you believe that Thorpe Park's annual Halloween event should not be prohibited on the grounds of Katie Sutton's petition.
Thank you.
