Petition to stop the Daycare and Party Venue, 79 Andre Brink Street, Vorna Valley

This petition is to get council to stop the tenant of 79 Andre Brink Street, Vorna Valley, Midrand to open a Day care and Party Venue.

Vorna Valley doesn’t not want a day care nor party venue in a closed off area consisting of only 78 houses, where there are already two (2) crèches. Allowing this, will undermine the integrity of the safety and security of the area, bringing with it even more noise pollution and extra traffic to a pan handle house, where there is no parking available. This is a tranquil residential area and should remain as such.

Neighbouring residents have not been consulted in this matter, and object strongly for this business to open at 79 Andre Brink Street. Council has not been contacted by the tenant wanting to start this business and already the property has been transformed into a day care and party place.

This will also impact on neighbouring property value, as very few people wish to buy a house next to a day care or party place which would run 7 days a weeks.

We hereby strongly request that council have this place closed down with immediate effect.
