 Residents are under siege!

The recent defunding of our police by a staggering R5 850 139 billion (to help pay SAA bailout) has left our men and women in blue vulnerable and exposed. It is little wonder that our crime is out of control, the most recent crime statistics have revealed increases of

• Sexual offenses have risen by 63.2%
• Attempted murder up by 30%
• Drug-related crime up by 36.4%
• Attempted Sexual offense up by 50%
• Truck Highjackings up by 200%
• Robbery at non-residential premises up by 25.6%

Currently, sector policing at the Norkem Park Police station is in dire crisis, with the Station only having 32 sector police officers when they should have 64 – a shortage of 50%, in addition, we only have six sector vehicles.

Enough is Enough!

Send a strong and clear message to the Minister of Police that we will not tolerate the defunding of the police and that the Norkem Park Police station deserves its fair share of sector policing.
