Rage Against the Machine in Syntagma square, Athens

People in Athens and the whole of Greece are struggling against economic recession, unemployment, debts, and a scheme for the payment of the latter which threatens to eradicate all remaining rights to work, decent wages, pensions, healthcare, and in general of any form of social support.

 

Rage against the machine, being one of the most politically-aware bands, have already showed their support to the causes of the Greek people, as shown in this and this video.

 

We believe that if they, and the rest of the Axis of justice organization artists can come and play here in Athens will greatly benefit our causes.

Οι άνθρωποι, τόσο στην Αθήνα όσο και στην υπόλοιπη Ελλάδα, αγωνίζονται ενάντια στην οικονομική ύψεση, την ανεργία, τα χρέη και σε ένα σχέδιο για την αποπληρωμή τους που θα εξολοθρεύσει κάθε μορφή δικαιώματος στην εργασία, σε αξιοπρεπείς μισθούς, συντάξεις, υγειονομική κάλυψη, και γενικά σε κάθε μορφή κοινωνικού κράτους.

 

Οι Rage Against The Machine, οι οποίοι σχηματίζουν ένα από τα πλέον πολιτικοποιημένα συγκροτήματα, ήδη έδειξαν την υποστήριξή τους στον αγώνα των Ελλήνων, όπως φαίνεται σε αυτό και αυτό το βίντεο.

 

Πιστεύουμε ότι εάν τόσο οι ίδιοι, όσο και οι υπόλοιποι καλλιτέχνες που σχηματίζουν την οργάνωση Axis of justice μπορούν να έρθουν και να παίξουν στην Αθήνα, θα βοηθήσουν σε σημαντικό βαθμό στους σκοπούς των Ελλήνων.
