SAVE KLOPPER PARK & HARMELIA AREA, EKURHULENI TAKE ACTION! Demand efficient and effective Municipal service delivery now!

We the residents of Klopper Park & Harmelia, Ekurhuleni, petition the Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, MEC Lebogang Maile, to force the City of Ekurhuleni Executive Mayor, Mzwandile Masina, to take urgent action to clean up the community and improve the poor water pressure supply to the area. Take action in removing Illegal Communes. Prior to the 2020 March lockdown, ever decreasing levels and standards of municipal services being delivered to Klopper Park have meant that ratepayers are no longer getting the services they deserve. Since lockdown the situation has further deteriorated. Pavements and roads are not maintained, stormwater drains are blocked with litter and weeds, trees have not been trimmed, hedges are overgrown with weeds and long grass, household refuse is dumped at pavement bins, and our parks are in a shocking state. It is a disgrace and the City of Ekurhuleni needs to take immediate action to ensure that Klopper Park is returned to it’s former glory!
