Save Raigmore Maternity Beds

We, the undersigned, petition NHS Highland  NOT  to go ahead with the proposal

to close maternity beds in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, which could compromise the health

of mums and babies throughout the Highlands and Islands and the care they receive.

Staff at the north’s biggest hospital have rebelled against plans to remove maternity beds and warned

it could put mothers and babies at risk.

Midwives at Raigmore in Inverness fear proposals to make the temporary closure of six beds permanent

will pave the way for an entire ward to be scrapped.
