Hawkers should not be allowed to trade in a residential area. We the residents are to blame for allowing this to happen, it is about time we put an end to it.

To open a shop costs money and keeps order and funds the country with taxes but the hawkers are not responsibile for cleaning around themselves. They do not pay rent or taxes.... This is not acceptable. Furthermore it brings down the property value. Let's keep business on certain properties and not all over the street.

Ourarea has became a dirty fifty place it’s surrounded by hawkers selling clothing vegetables, that leave those e areas dirty Bottle store in lente and spar on Fridays if not if not eve day is filled with people drinking urinating there and also they leave bottles lating around .Sadly most of these people are not Kloppies so they don’t care . Clothes sold are hanged in our properties lawn Kloppies lets do something .Elandsfontein did not became like this in one day its been happening slowly till it is what is is today. We have events happening within the residential area which are not supposed to be .
