If his dog is on a tight lead the only way it could hurt someone is if they attack Eddie. Show a bit of human kindness to this homeless man, please.

(Manchester, 2017-01-22)

#3037

I often see this man and his dog and I have never seen the dog be vicious, it's always placid

(Peterborough, 2017-01-22)

#3054

Just because a jobsworth says his dog is vicious, if it was the police would remove!! Not just cos some prat says

(Bourne, 2017-01-22)

#3059

This dog is not in any way dangerous. I have walked past this dog and owner for as long as I can remember and it is a very peaceful relaxed dog. I have never heard it bark once. Some other dog owners need to learn from this gentleman how to look after a dog.

(Sawtry, 2017-01-22)

#3060

The guy needs his dog, he has nothing else.

(Warwick, 2017-01-22)

#3062

Im a dog lover and this is so not right.

(Keighley west yorkshire, 2017-01-22)

#3064

I feel this would be a cruel thing to do to a member of the human race. These dogs are his family. His means of feeling love and affection. I would suggest compassion should be used to find a kinder solution that will be compatible to both parties.

(Upwell, 2017-01-22)

#3067

This guy has lost too much. let him keep his doggy

(Uffington, 2017-01-22)

#3071

(chatteris, 2017-01-22)

#3072

I met Eddie today and stopped for a chat. A small dog went past and barked at him, Floyd barked back ... but not in a vicious nasty away at all. just a simple bark like most dogs would do. I gave Floyd a big fuss and he nuzzled into my leg. .... he loved it :) he then back with eddie and placed his paws on his shoulders for a cuddle. not the signs of a vicious dog

(ST NEOTS, 2017-01-22)

#3074

This is unacceptable

(Slough, 2017-01-22)

#3079

#3080

I'm signing because i want to support Eddie, Bitsy and Floyd!

(Peterborough, 2017-01-22)

#3081

I think this man deserves help, not punishment. To deprive him of his dog (s) is just heartless and cruel.

(Derbyshire, 2017-01-22)

#3086

im signing this because i have known eddy and those 2 dogs for a very long time those dogs r not dangerous they are adorable and eddy is a fantastic bloke does anything for anybody and he struggles every day on his own

#3089

His dogs are his family.

(Peterbrough, 2017-01-22)

#3091

I do not believe his dogs are a threat!! Dogs are only aggressive when they feel threatened. You kill his dogs you will be killing a human as he only lives for the dogs.

(Somerset, 2017-01-22)

#3095

this poor man loves his dogs and they love him... the police love destroying our pets...

#3101

Where IS Valerie?

Who has assessed this dog and found him to be dangerous? How has this been qualified?

Is this a malicious prosecution?

Are taxpayers of Peterborough happy to fund a sp

(Cambridge, 2017-01-22)

#3102

I have a dog and I would be lost without him. This man clearly needs his dogs. Doesn't look like he has much else.

(Leeds, 2017-01-22)

#3104

Every time I see them on the city centre together breaks my heart as he only has that dog as a companion and you see people who have someone in their life who love them and for all this poor man has been through why should he be left alone with no one by his side, no one in life can make it without anyone caring for them. What has happened to humanity where we help one another, this makes life perfect but by taking a homeless mans dog away from him is too far, be in his shoes.

(Spalding, 2017-01-22)

#3105

It's not a viscous or dangerous dog.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-22)

#3106

Eddie is a lovely guy and I have never seen either of his dogs misbehave.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-22)

#3108

It's not fair these dogs are his family why would people do this. They are his life let them be , there doing no harm .

(Rotherham, 2017-01-22)

#3109

These dogs do not deserve to be destroyed and taking away this mans only companions and reason to exist is totally out of order and inhumane!!

(Brighouse, 2017-01-22)

#3110

About time we help the homeless not hinder them if he had a house he would not be on the street problem solved

(Peterborough, 2017-01-22)

#3112

This incident should be investigated further before condemning innocent animals to death. Often street dogs are goaded unmercifully.

(Bexhill on Sea, 2017-01-22)

#3114

Ive seen Eddie and Floyd plenty of times when ive been in town. Not once have i ever seen the dog be anything other then loving and loyal to his owner. Frankly to put these dogs to sleep would be disgusting. Taking away a beloved pet and companion is degrading and immoral. I think he should be able to keep his dogs and be left to look after them as any person should.

(peterborough, 2017-01-22)

#3115

Obviously this dog is NOT vicious or out of control

(Exeter, 2017-01-22)

#3117

I think he should be allowed to keep his dogs which are his life

(Manchester, 2017-01-23)

(Northampton, 2017-01-23)

#3122

Thay have done no harm, they are his family, You dont kill family

(manchester, 2017-01-23)

#3127

We should help the homeless and disadvantaged not ridicule them. If this man had been helped at intervention stage, perhaps he wouldn't have gotten to this point. We are all only human.

(Reading, 2017-01-23)

#3128

I'm signing because the dogs are this mans life, it would seriously harm his wellbeing if they were destroyed.

(Sandy, 2017-01-23)

#3129

Because it would be so horrible for some fancy bloke to take a man's life away because he doesn't like the dog.

(Lincs, 2017-01-23)

#3132

These dogs don't deserve this let them have their life

(Elm, Cambridgeshire, 2017-01-23)

#3138

Please don't kill this man's pets, he has no home, don't take away his beloved pets as well

(Derby, 2017-01-23)

#3142

Find the guy a home rather than killing his dogs

(London, 2017-01-23)

#3143

Because it's everything to a him a person

(Tiverton, 2017-01-23)

#3162

Cus its out of fukkn order thats why...

(Lincs, 2017-01-23)

#3165

I can see no justifiable reason to persecute this man by destroying his dog. There is no evidence of dangerous behaviour.

(Doncaster, 2017-01-23)

#3168

I feel it's wrong 2 take his only family he can count on & get unconditionally love. Not 2 mention the companionship & warm they give him.

(Parma, 2017-01-23)

#3174

outrageous behaviour by the council

(Letchworth, 2017-01-23)

#3180

Is the single hart on his life, we are not allow to take off that of him!!! I been pass him many many times with my son, is never been happen something wrong with his dog!!!

(Peterborough, 2017-01-23)

#3182

I've met this man and his dogs. They are in. I way aggressive. Having been homeless, I know how important his dogs are to him. He's a lovely chap and doesn't deserve this.

(Stamford, 2017-01-23)

#3183

I have seen and donated to eddie and his dog for 4 years... no way is that dog a danger.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-23)

#3189

Because his lifestyle isn't every ones cuppa, people try to make it even more unbearable. ..so the dogs are targeted! They only have each other....whatever happened to lI've and ket live! Please have a heart.

(Tamworth, 2017-01-23)

#3192
