I know Eddy and his dogs and its unbelievable for the council to say that his dogs would be vicious. They should better care about the people they are throwing out on the street in st michaels gate. Freakin wankers.

Floyd has barked at my dog before. No big deal, did her no harm. He's a very sweet dog, the thought of having him put down is ridiculous.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-23)

#3480

No humity shown. No real assessment, just a signature on a destruction form - the charm of faceless bureaucracy

(Ilkeston, 2017-01-23)

#3481

He shouldn't have his dogs taken off him, there are people living in houses who probably don't treat there dog as well as what this man is doing so so what if he is homeless. He is being ridiculed because he is homeless and an easy target - disgusting!!

(Preston, 2017-01-23)

#3488

#3497

There is no apparent evidence to support this action, this dog is obviously loved and cared for, and is tethered to its owner ... the court funding should be used for more important issues, and this man and his dogs shiuld be allowed to live their lives together in peace

(Downgam Market, 2017-01-23)

#3498

(Norwich, 2017-01-23)

Dogs just shouldest be put to sleep

(Kent, 2017-01-23)

#3514

Eddie is such a lovely man. He never begs, just sits quietly with his guitar and beloved Floyd who love a little fuss.
Some people are disgusted with these people being on our streets but never take the time to understand why!
I always and Will always continue to give money for whatever his needs are, be it for him but most of the time he uses it to feed his companions that are Floyd and Bitsy....isn't that lovely!
If only more people were that kind.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-23)

He needs those dogs just as much as they need him. They are not vicious, they are his family.

(Cambridge, 2017-01-23)

#3552

He is a lovely man and his dogs are his life . I have stopped and spoke to him many times when in town .and his dog has never shown me any signs of aggression

(Whittlesey Peterborough, 2017-01-23)

#3557

I find it hard to believe that in this human society the authorities can be so cruel supposedly in our name, I find it hard to believe that you could find more than one person that would possibly agree with this, it comes across as hitting a nut with a sledge hammer, surely this does not need to happen, I have spoken to this man on numerous occasions and the dogs have never made a peep. Any councillor that backs this should not be voted in again. Leave him and his dogs alone !!

(Peterborough, 2017-01-23)

#3558

Because I know how valuable a dog is in someone's life almost a life saver. On seeing the chains Ffloyd has obviously got the dog under control. Good luck to him and his dogs

(Swindon, 2017-01-23)

#3559

The dog is obviously not dangerous & Eddie needs him for the great source of comfort he gives. I'm sure there are many dogs like Floyd who would sooner be in this position than so cruelly treated as so many are

(Peterborough, 2017-01-23)

#3560

I want to help this man for being accused because the council are bored and want to upset someone I'm a 12 year old boy and even I would do something so selfish, mean etc like that

(Peterborough, 2017-01-23)

#3568

#3574

These dogs are not aggressive

(Peterborough, 2017-01-23)

#3577

It's inhumane would you do this to a human and there is plenty of dangerous people leave the dogs alone you are only doing this because he is homeless

(Peterborough, 2017-01-23)

#3578

This dog is no way on earth aggressive, there is plenty of people with dogs that are dangerous and cannot control them walking our streets, so stop picking on an innocent homeless guy,

(Shropshire, 2017-01-23)

#3582

I'M SIGNING BECAUSE I THINK PETERBOROUGH COUNCIL WILL LISTEN AND I HOPE MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION.PLEASE DON'T SEPARATE THEM.THEIR LIFE IS HARD ENOUGH ALREADY.

(norfolk, 2017-01-23)

#3583

because neither of his dogs are vicious, since i was 13/14 i've petted both dogs and neither have attacked

(peterborough, 2017-01-23)

#3584

This is proposterous ! Anyone can see that Floyd is in no way vicious. Look at his body language. He is a much loved pet and is obviously Eddie's world.
If he has barked at anyone, he is protecting his master, his best friend.
Take his dogs and you could have a possible suicide on your hands - leave him alone. He is homeless. Why not find him a council flat so that him and his dogs won't be on the steeets !

(Newcastle upon Tyne, 2017-01-23)
