New Zealand Flower Farmers deserve fairer treatment and consideration. Support contactless deliveries for cut flowers through level 3 and 4 Delta lockdown.

It is awful seeing paddocks of flowers just go to waste. Please allow the growers to sell flowers, it is their livelihood. Contactless pickup/dropoff is possible.

I am signing this as I believe that we should be supporting our flower growers. I believe that that would be able to meet lockdown regulations and supply supermarkets etc.

We can't cripple an industry while others are thriving through the lockdowns. If people can co duct their business safely and follow all the guidelines then why shouldn't they be able to work. without the cut flower industry alot of other small businesses will struggle too. The flow on effect is unfair. Plus who wants to see all the beautiful blooms go to compost!

I'm signing because I am a florist and flowers are a proven to be beneficial for mental health... When is the best time for flowers if not now during a global pandemic when people are suffering silently in isolation of depression, loss, and loneliness...

If wine is allowed to be an essential service so should flowers!

At a time when people cannot gather gif funerals, weddings or even to support loved ones at hospital, I believe the ability to send flowers is all the more important. If we allow wine and chocolate why not flowers? This is a perishable, seasonal crop it makes sense for it to be treated as other crops.
