It's outrageous

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#211

Reasons given in the petition, no water for a day twice has hurt the village

(London, 2017-03-31)

#212

The conditions don't reach normal living conditions.

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#218

No water. No wifi. No electricity. No launderette. Not acceptable!

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#220

Shocking facilities

(Lymington, 2017-03-31)

#222

I'm fed up of living on a two bit building site

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#231

I have no water

Resident of HSV

(Dorset, 2017-03-31)

#234

we are owed money for regular mistakes which do not get solved

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#258

I have been affected by the uninhabitable conditions of the student village, it is already inconvenient enough having to spend just over an hour commuting to campus every day.

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#264

I live at HSV and this is bullshit.

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#265

HSV has had too many problems, ranging from the electricity being cut out to the water being cut out on numerous occasions.

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#269

The state of the student village is absolutely ridiculous and students should not be expected to be paying rent for such appalling conditions.

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#277

My sister who lives at these halls has been subjected to unsafe and unsanitary living conditions. It is unfair to request full payment for half a service.

(Cardiff, 2017-03-31)

I am a current resident at HSV and I've experienced many problems such as no wifi, water outage, power cut and the launderette not being in service, which we were only reimbursed £2 for. I feel that this is awful treatment and we deserve the type of service we pay for and if we don't have them services then we should be reimbursed for them.

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#283

disappointed with constant problems

(swansea, 2017-03-31)

#292

Kind of sick of random stuff breaking once a week. All i want is some decent wifi and running water to shower and cook.

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#293

I'm one of the HSV students mentioned.

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#294

I'm paying over £4000 to live on a building site with no water, electricity or wifi

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#301

It is unacceptable that the students in the Village be expected to pay full rent for things they don't even have access to for such long periods of time.

(Bristol, 2017-03-31)

#310

Low standard of living at times

(Nottingham, 2017-03-31)

#313

The letting agreement is a two way street. If someone broke a fridge in a flat even by accident it would come out of their deposit. If the landlords fail to provide basic amenities then the agreement is broken the other way.

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#318

I feel I should be compensated for the facilities that haven't been provided which were agreed in the contract.

(Newport, 2017-03-31)

#319

Constant issues with the water, wifi, power cuts and launderette.

(Barry, 2017-03-31)

#324

My daughter lives on HSV and I have not been at all happy with the lack of services she has had to endure. No water for hours on end is a health hazard.

(Dorchester, 2017-03-31)

#326

The poor service provided by residential services and the constant disruptions caused by st Modwen

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#333

To be paying rent and to suffer numerous breaches of contract is a disgrace

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#334

Living conditions are constantly contradicting the contract signed, 2 water outages, 2 powercuts, wifi stoppages, showers broken and never fully fixed, building defies my happiness and wellbeing rights as we were not told of this.

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#339

I'm not happy paying the same price to live at the village as those did when it first opened. The problems are endless and I would not have chosen to live here if I had known. We should have been notified.

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#348

Because even half the rent would be too much for the place that has outages of water, electricity and wifi more than once per month.

(Tychy, 2017-03-31)

#349

Haven't been personally affected but have friends that have been & have witnessed first hand how bad it is. I find the standards unacceptable, especially compared with what's available on Bay Campus. Hopefully for those that this affects has this issue resolved quickly.

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#359

Friends who are struggling to access the facilities they pay to use

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#360

Third time without any water for a number of hours.
For the individuals doing a health care course such as nursing hygiene is essential and without water we are unable to clean ourselves before and after placement.
We have gone without internet when we have essays due.
We have gone without electricity for around 1 hour.
We were never informed that we were living on a building site that would cause so many problems such as punctured tires, mass amounts of traffic.
We have gone around 2 months without a laundrette in which we were compensated only £2.50.

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#364

I want a shower

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#368

My daughter is also suffering the inconvenience.

(Gloucester, 2017-03-31)

#372

Giving me a 2L bottle of water to flush the toilet, have a shower and live, simply isn't feasible

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#397

Too often and not enough warning.

(Swansea, 2017-03-31)

#398

There is no way that the way we live is acceptable or legal!

(Newport, 2017-03-31)
