I have seen this person since I was a child, i have also petted his dog, i have not found either to be nasty or vicious, however to destroy to animals on nothing but hear say is truly vicious.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#402

I am an animal lover and have sympathy for this man

(Zaandam, 2017-01-21)

#405

Me and partner visted peterborough just before christmas and went and spoke to eddie and his dog floyd, we had no problems with the dog he was friendly and loving to his owner. He shouldnt have his dogs taken away from him as they are all he has left! the only thing that should happen is there to be somewhere warm where he can take his dogs and stay warm over night and for them to get some sleep!!! #helpeddieandhisdogs

(St neots, 2017-01-21)

#407

Im signing because I see this man and his dog near enough every day. Floyd has always been under control and you can see how much he is loved. Eddie is unbelieveably polite and would never do put himself, his dog or others at risk. This cannot happen!

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#410

I don't want this to happen to any dog let alone a homeless guys dog as I now Floyd means the world to his owner

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#411

I have met Eddie before and he is the most joyful and giving person considering his circumstances. His dogs are gentle and you can see how much he adores them. Taking him to court is completely absurd and the people of Peterborough should help a genuinely kind man out by signing this petition X

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#413

I'm signing because eddie doesn't deserve to lose the dogs I have stopped to talk to Eddie many times and both his dogs were the most gentlest dogs so neither dog deserve to be put down

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#419

This is unfair and unjust. Please treat this man and his animals fairly

(Sheffield, 2017-01-21)

#420

It's completely absurd the council would do something like this. I have walked past Eddie and his dog and also stopped to chat to him and that dog is far from violent/ dangerous. The council are a joke.

(Bourne, 2017-01-21)

#428

I walk past them quite often . Hes a lovley dog and far from vicious. Please don't take him away.

(Peterbrough, 2017-01-21)

#429

Im signing this because this man is so polite. Everytime im in town hes always smiling and his very handsome dog is as good as gold. I myself have sat with him and talked to him and stroked his dog. I cant believe his only friend is going to be killed.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#430

I've seen this man with his dog and there is no way he's nasty.
The last time I was shopping I see a man sat talking to him,and he had a little girl with him who sat stroking this beautiful dog.
Don't take away the only thing he has...
Shame on them for trying to do this...
Beautiful dog ❤❤❤

(Spalding, 2017-01-21)

#431

I'm signing this petition because the council are wrong, I often walk by Eddie and his dog Floyd ,at no time have I seen his dog been vicious or out of control In fact Floyd is always been laying down next to Eddie.

(Huntingdon, 2017-01-21)

#435

This is wrong! And should not be allowed!

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#440

This man and his dogs are lovely I have never felt in danger in anyway please please leave them alone

(Cambs, 2017-01-21)

#446

I walk passed the dog every day and it shows no sign of agresstion it's harmless

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#447

Putting animals down is wrong

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#451

TOLERANCE IS BETTER THAN PERSECUTION AND BULLYING. LEAVE THE MAN AND HIS DOG ALONE.

(Lincs, 2017-01-21)

#456

I have walked past this man nearly every day for the past 18 months with his dog by his side. Never have I heard him even bark, let alone show any signs of being vicious. He is always laid by Eddie's side.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#460

That dog isn't vicious that is harmless

(Ely, 2017-01-21)

#461

Pets are the only family many homeless people have and by all accounts this dog is not a threat to the public in any way.

(Chicago, 2017-01-21)

#468

This is a disgrace. I know Eddie well and pass and speak with him every time I'm in town, and neither Bitsy nor Flloyd are in the least bit violent or dangerous. Shame on our council.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#469

The dogs are this mans life. This poor dog is NOT vicious at all. Leave this poor man and his poor dog in peace. Do not believe in animal cruelty either.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#470

This unfair...........

(Montaigu De Quercy, 2017-01-21)

#472

Nothing short of council bullying to get this man off the streets

(Stamford, 2017-01-21)

#474

This poor man doesn't deserve this. You can see he hasn't got much in his life and your taking away his dogs, be one thing that makes him happy. Disgusting.

(Barrow upon Soar, 2017-01-21)

#480

Poor dog he is lovely

(Hastings, 2017-01-21)

#482

In no way shape or form is floyd vicious! We have gone and bought both Eddie and his dog things in the past, only the other day we bought him socks and gloves aswell as some dog food and some treats!! I've sat with floyd and petted him many times and he is the most gentle dog I've ever met, this whole thing is bloody ridiculous. I'm very angry that they have been targeted, pick on someone else you bullies!

(Bourne, 2017-01-21)

#483

He is a very nice man and his dogs are not vicious! My children have said hello to his dog many times and there has never been anything but kindness from himself and his lovely furry friends.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#487

I am signing because this is wrong. Those dogs or the person has never caused any harm to another human. If a dog feels threatened his instinct is to act upon.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#488

The whole situation is ludicrous, good luck Eddie xx

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#489

I am signing this because me and my partner have met Eddie and his dog and they are both the friendliest being. We had a really nice chat with him and stroked his dog and not once did his dog at all come across vicious. He was happily wrapped up in his blanket and at no point did we feel threatened. If these dogs are destroyed I hope the person who does it had nightmares forever. This is so cruel it's beyond words. He is a lovely chap with a friendly companion and for this to be broken because of the stupid council who don't know them at all is beyond wrong. If it happens I hope the person making the choice rots in hell for murdering harmless animals!!!!!!!

(Bourne, 2017-01-21)

#490

He doesn't have much in this world. He doesn't have a house, he has a concrete wall, the concrete street floor, his guitar and his dogs, to take those few things away from him would be inhumane to do. We have friends and family in the world, were as he has those dogs, those are his family. They are not in any shape or form dangerous, he is a responsible owner who would gladly buy food and water for his dogs with the little he makes from playing before he would feed himself.

(Bourne, 2017-01-21)

#491

All lives matter

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#493

His dogs are probably protective because of the abuse they get from drunks on a night

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#495

Should be helping this gentleman and his dog not punishing him! How about finding him adequate housing instead!

(Nantwich, 2017-01-21)

#497

This is cruel and unnecessary

(Gretton, 2017-01-21)

#506

When I come to Peterborough I always going to fuss the dog he never bite me or my family

(Huntingdon, 2017-01-21)

#511

I hate cruelty to dogs they don't have to be pts

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#517

Their is no way this dog is vicious I've never seen the dog move from his side let alone try and go for someone

(Wisbech, 2017-01-21)

#522

This dog has never been a danger to anyone it's disgusting how you would think to put a dog down without any evidence of this dog being harmful towards anybody! SHAME ON YOU.

(Lincolnshire, 2017-01-21)

#526

Because the homeless are humans too.

(London, 2017-01-21)

#527

He's homeless, don't punish him anymore! Do something to help him

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#528

I see this guy and his dogs every day. I cannot believe that they are doing this the dogs are harmless i am very disappointed in this x

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#530

This man and his dog have done nothing wrong i have spent time to sit and talk to him and his dog is in no way dangerous

(Peterbrough, 2017-01-21)

#531

I see this dog on every trip I make to town and it has never once been a threat to me or the children in my family that personally drop this man some change.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#534

This man loves his dog! You Peterborough council should be ashamed

(St. Neots, 2017-01-21)

#535

It's not right

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#541

I'm signing this because I have pets myself there are our baby's and wouldn't like this to happen

(Sheffield, 2017-01-21)

#546

That dog is clearly not vicious. Council suck for that

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#547

Floyd is a lovely dog. It would be a dispicable act to distroy this faithful companion.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#551

Its wrong

(Mansfield, 2017-01-21)

#552

Absolute outrage the dog is clearly loved fed and devoted to his owner. see them both many times when in town. no way is the dog vicious, just a snobby excuse by the council hoping Eddie will disappear along with the dogs. are they going to put Eddie down to? those dogs are his world.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#553

We feed Eddie and Floyd on frequent occasions. Eddie is a really nice, friendly guy, Floyd is an extremely friendly dog, never growled at us, never bitten, if the decision is made to have a loving dog put to sleep is made, I will publicly shame the person who came up with this ludicrous idea!!

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#554

A dog is man's best friend, dogs mean everything to someone who has nothing

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#556

It is so obviously a contrived way of removing him from the town.

(Launceston, 2017-01-21)

#559

There's a world of difference between a reactive (barking) dog and an aggressive dog. Leave the man and his loved animals alone.

(Wexford, 2017-01-21)

#560

This dog is not dangerous and doesnt deserve this!!!

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#565

Destroying this man's dogs is unnecessary and totally immoral. How dare they remove beloved pets and companions from a human being for no good reason. Just wrong.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#568

Eddie is a dear friend of mine and I know FACT those dogs are not viscous and have every right to be here

(Spalding, 2017-01-21)

#571

Because i know that his dogs are lovely animals!

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#572

A peaceful dog is a peaceful dog. Sighthounds and their crosses in particular are almost NEVER even confrontational, never mind aggressive. This dog is warmth, a companion and a protector. NOT a "vicious" or "out of control" animal. I've studied dog behaviour for over a decade, I've been around all kinds of dogs in all kinds of situations. This isn't a dangerous dog. If I'm wrong, send ME to court.

(Bolton, 2017-01-21)

#573

His dog is his best friend and no threat have a heart

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#574

Im signing because i know both bitsy and floyd and neither of them are vicious there are lovely dogs tha just want fussing all the time

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#578

The dog is not vicious! I see them almost every day and have never seen it acting aggressively! Leave them alone!

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#579

I'm signing this petition because it is morally wrong to put this mans pets/family/friends/companions to sleep, I see no malice in this dog from the video shared. The only outcome of such a heinous crime, would be this poor mans misery and lack of self worth, his dogs are probably the only thing keeping him going, the reason he wakes up every day? Who knows no one can say unless they are or have ever been in such a position. I truly hope the petition works? Everyone/every living animal deserves to live, who are we to decide who lives and who dies! The human race amazes me at times!? So sad....

(Wisbech, 2017-01-21)

#581

This is disgraceful...This poor guy has no home, he clearly loves his dog, Take it away will destroy him.

(Gosport, 2017-01-21)

#583

Iv stroked this dog on many occasions and been close to it and it has never once been vicious or bitten me

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#584

I have met both floyd and Bitsy and bitsy is completely harmless! Lovely animal.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#587

There but for the grace of God....Leave the man his companion and his dignity for pity's sake

(Deeside, 2017-01-21)

#589

Unfair discrimination once again!

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#590

There must be another way

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)

#595

I am signing because I have met Eddie and his dog and he is not a dangerous dog

(Spalding, 2017-01-21)

#596

I've seen this gentleman and his dog and he is always under control , this is typical council finding scapegoat for their own wrongdoing , we will fight this and have shared

(Peterborough, 2017-01-21)
