This business can be run safely and it's our primary sector that will get NZ up and operational again.

They should be opened as distance for buyers can be easily maintained. We have a drought this is imperative right now

Ive been in this position in the past.. It is a terrible situation to have to cope with every day when you walk outside.

This is affecting so many farmers and with no grass growing it’s going to be hard on farmers trying to find feed especially for pregnant stock as more time passes. If farmers can off load and lessen stock numbers now then they won’t be needing to find so much extra feed.

It's obvious that saleyards can operate with social distancing and keeping a good record of all attendees. It's much safer than the takeaways and supermarkets. Farmers in the drought are desperate. Stop the favouritism for big fast food companies and the supermarket duopoly while squeezing small businesses.

I can't see how Civid-19 can be spread by the sale of sheep

We need to be doing everything we can to help drought stricken farmers at the moment

Farmers need this assistance just as other people do. If the animals have no food then they need to have an alternative.

If McDonalds can be open then so should the sale yards. It’s a no brainer !

This is a totally unnecessary restriction
Time the government took a reality check on what they are doing
Obviously not conversant with the outside issues or the health impact of lockdown v the number of deaths kaitaia covert
