Frensham and its environs should be protected from inappropriate development

As a Frensham Old Girl I strongly object to this over indulgent, environmentally detrimental development in the Lower Holt. Since when has the idea of 'glamping" in the Lower Holt been one that ultimately results in appreciation for the natural environment? "Our end goal here is to enhance the Frensham experience for girls by creating a unique outdoor environmental education program, designed to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the natural environment" quoted by Ms McGarry - if that is the aim - purchase some tents, sleeping bags and inflatable mattresses for the girls or develop an on-going relationship with an existing eco-tourist provider. Over indulgent, distasteful idea on so many levels - PLEASE do not do this to the Holt.

I feel this proposal of destroying sensitive bush land within a major waterway tributary to apparently appreciate bushland ,whilst ignoring protests, is the ultimate act of money and entitlement trying to override real community and environmental concerns.

I oppose the destruction of the holt
It is driven by greed which is not what frensham should become known for.
