I'm signing because the law should not exclude. Cruelty is an act by people that thrive on power and control which makes those people dangerous to be walking free. This needs to stop. No animal should be abused. Dogs have brains just as we do and have been proven to possess emotions. Your child has a brain and emotions, is it acceptable for your children to be abused so brutally and discarded like these dogs? If the law says its OK to treat a dog with a brain and emotions in such a barbaric way then it's OK to treat all your children the same isn't it? Think about it! Please revise and change the laws.

This petition comes from making an extremely sad & tragic, horrific situation of Zeekee into something positive. Pls help Jo Mitchell &;sign & share this petition.
Facts about Zeekee:
She came into Charlotte del Rio care at #112carlotagalgos very skinny, malnourished & unable to open her jaw at all! Her jaw was fused shut! She survived by sucking up any food from the floor. Can you imagine the suffering?
She couldn't bark
She couldn't pant
She couldn't clean herself
She couldn't eat or drink properly
It turned out her jaw was fractured (probably by a blow to her jaw) and her jaw must have been taped shit as that is how the bones healed...they healed while her jaw was shut. Charlotte paid for expert veterinary care to operate on her jaw when Zeekee had built up some more strength...so not even a couple of weeks in. Operation worked but sadly there were problems with the wound and she needed operating again urgently. She passed in recovery with heart failure I believe, from recollection. 😞

Charlotte said the Galguerosbare known to tape their mouths shut to stop the barking. This is the levels of EVIL these disgusting vile hunters will go to.
