i believe its all about marketing and helping some company make millions of $$$. while we are losing our identity lets change the name from world taekwondo to duck duck goose tkd. our traditional uniform is our identity no matter what school you are in when you put it on you be recognized. one more thing with all respect to all of martial artist and all religion how some of Muslim female taekwondo players feel about. stop making somebody milliner on our taekwondo root and tradition expense.
what will happen when you train in hot area when you covered with sweat. wearing our old uniform you have a space between your body and your pants air can go in and out so you really don't sweat so much in the leg area. but in this i believe its going to be wet pants party and that is a shame.

This is a disgrace to Taekwondo history. The traditional dobok has been used for years. Why change it? Now everyone looks like ballerinas

Those uniforms are horrifying. The Taekwondo competitors should not be punished and humiliated because of some psychos sitting in Korea at the World Taekwondo headquarters, twiddling their thumbs because they know Japan is going to crush them in the 2020 Olympics.
Normal uniforms and 2020 Armor for scoring!
