Karin Rheeder (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#618

Area has no structure to accommodate people, no water or sanitation

Mariana Pretorius (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#619

Protecting the wetland is of utmost importance. Unfortunately the informal settlement will cause terrible pollution particularly.

Janine De Wet (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#623

It is not sustainable - criminal element, no infrastructure, contamination of natural resources - water

Jan Van Vuuren (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#627

Crime is escallating in the area.

Danny Greyvenstein (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#634

The informal settlement in Wolwespruit is inhumane. There are no services. The settlers also collcet refuse in said area creating an unhygienic and "dump site" area within a suburb.

Marike Snyman (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#636

Informal settlements leads to an increase in violence, robbery and murder. Just look at plastic view and what's happening there.

Ruben Booysen (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#644

I'm living right next to Solomon Mahlangu Drive and if they are not making a noise at night they are polluting the area. It is not a pretty picture to CoT.

Pierre Rautenbach (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#650

The situation is getting out of control and urgent action needs to be taken!!!

Leandri Opperman (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#662

I own a property in Erasmuskloof.

Jan Mollentze (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#663

Seen the negative effects of Plastic View and Cemetery View on crime in Pta East suburbs. Crime cannot be controlled and police are either too scared of its residents or they have their own little syndicates in there

Liezl Biewenga (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#664

It is terrible hoe informal settlements can just be allowed to develop. They are breaking the law.

Louis Geeringh (Tswane, 2020-07-19)

#669

Help our eco system from being destroyed.

Shirley Hollier (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#676

I support remival of illegal squatters

John Ferreira (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#677

These people are living in inhuman conditions and damaging the environment in the process. They have open fires that cause a risk of spreading to nearby businesses and houses.

Tracey Grobbelaar (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#685

Informal settlement must be controlled or removed as it increases crime, pollution and numerous other community problems

Tanya Kruss (Moreletapark, 2020-07-19)

#686

This is illegal and they are a threat to our community. They are lowering our property value. That is private property and it is against the law to just set up a squatter camp where ever they like.

Eben Labuschagné (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#689

The longer an issue like this is left without being solved, the larger the problem becomes and the more difficult and complicated it becomes. Soap, plastic and humans waste is being dumped into the water, polluting and destroying the entire natural system. These people are living in terrible squalor, all the while lowering the quality of life of all those around. Just do something about it! Take action! Stop thinking it will solve itself!

Frederik Nagel (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#695

I am signing because this informal settlement is causing an influx of people that need water and sanitation and due to the fact that there is none, they are using and contaminating the area where they stay now. There has also been a huge increase in burglaries in the area. This is unsafe from everyone!

Annemarie Fourie (Elarduspark, 2020-07-19)

#701

I don't want it to become a Hotspot for illegal activities.

The settlement becomes a great source of crime.
Its illegal.

Johan Visser (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#717

It is an illegal informal settlement

Jacoline Jordaan (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#720

Due to sanitation and health issues without any regulated environmental impact studies the Wolwespruit informal settlement cannot be deemed fit and the people need to be relocated elsewhere.

Jacques Lambert (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#722

This is a heightened crime risk and awfully unsoghtly

Debbie Rhys (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

I am a resident in the surrounding area and we would like to preserve the wet land area on which the informal settlers are occupying and also maintain security around our residences.

Johan Lessing (Tswae, 2020-07-19)

#762

We need to secure residential areas and stop illegal squatting.

Joanne Lijnes (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#763

The people are mostly beggars and there is no sanitation plus they are destroying property. Something must be done urgently. They must be moved away before the surrounding house owners take law into their own hands.

Marius Engelbrecht (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#778

Firstly, Im Staying across the street from the informal settlement. Constant noise disturbance till the early hours of the morning. Secondly, its a safety concern.

Annelie Pretorius (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#779

I agree with what the petition states

Karabi Legoabe (Tshwane, 2020-07-19)

I am feeling strong about conservation, and they are not contributing, burning the fields, polluting, burning plastics which creates poisonous fumes, and are a safety risk

Margriet Van Dyk (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

It is a health, crime and environmental risk.

Christiaan Van den Berg (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

I would like a better life for what the poor and homeless are getting at the moment.
I would like the ecology to be protected and cared for.

Regina Viljoen (Pretoria, 2020-07-19)

#791

I am a law abiding citizen of South Africa and this is my home . I do not condone lawlessness and disregard for the laws of South Africa. Something must be done about the informal settlements that are appearing everywhere. With every informal settlement comes the probability of crime and lawlessness. Like every legitimate citizen of SA who has a right to be safe in South Africa , I believe that the government is obligated to perform its duties to keep its citizens safe, and all illegal foreigners out.

Felix Lee (PRETORIA, 2020-07-19)
