it’s not fair to take away our highschool seniors sports, which is a huge part of our senior year. those are memories were supposed to have to last a lifetime & that’s part of the highschool experience. & you’re really gonna let covid take that away? we cant let covid affect us THAT much. we need to go on with our lives in a safe manner. we can have games with masks & social distancing. we can work things out. taking sports away will not find the cure for corona. it’s not doing anything but making kids hurt & upset. especially those who struggle w mental health & look to sports as their comfort to occupy their mind & happiness. let’s be considerate of our highschool seniors already struggling with how different things are this year.

My daughter was a Middletown South cheerleader and graduated in 2019. Our family would have been devastated if her season was cut short. My heart is breaking for these kids and their parents! The Thanksgiving Day game between North and South is something that the seniors never forget!! For all fall sports, this could be the last time these kids get to participate!
