My brother was murdered at the age of 14 and the guy that murdered him is living his best life. I know we should forgive but nothing was done about the case and my brother was still a child. Moordenaars behoort in die tronk of moet dood straf kry. Stop killing innocent people!!!Millicent Ortell Beukes (Paarl, 2021-12-09)

It's an absolute travesty that bail can be sought and even considered for a murderer - only that can happen on South Africa! Do not let him have bail!Sandy Frey (Cape Town, 2021-12-19)

Hope is the only thing stronger than fear. By standing together, we create hope for all those living in fear.Madeleine de Swardt (Bredasdorp, 2021-12-19)

Violence against women and children shouldn’t exist. Our women and children shouldn’t have to live in fear when doing simple things such as going for a walk, a run or any other normal everyday activities which men can do with no fear.Perpetrators of violence should not be given the opportunity to go out into communities where they can do the same again.
Keep him behind bars where he belongs. Let him never see the light of day again. May he rot, and may his conscience eat away at his soul for eternity.

This exact same story was mine and also started back in 2011 and I found out about a life insurance policy taken out on me in 2012. I can relate but got out in the nick of time in 2015Charlene Rhodes (Cape Town, 2022-11-11)
