Would be great for the region. Better then the 90 million wasted on the stupid council chambers

I agree we need something accessible for wheelchairs the Bay is such a Beautiful pet of the world lagoon would attract so many more. It’s a choice for people who live the beach but the the ocean to swim.

I'm signing because I would like a safe controlled area on our beautiful beach. There's way too many sharks in our bay and it's only a matter of time before someone gets hurt plus it would be an amazing tourist attraction

I think it would be good for the bay

I think it's a good idea due to the disabled access but also due to the local pool being disgusting, the recent sighting of sharks nearby to us while swimming multiple times recently, regular sea midges causing irritation, wetside doesnt allow for actual swimming, the pool is often being used or overcrowded with carnivals, etc.

I think it would be fabulous especially now there have been more and more stinger bites this year

People with disability need to be able to access the beach when they choose

I used to live in Redcliffe Brisbane and the lagoon was a fantastic place to have if the water in the ocean was highly populated with jelly fish or anything else that was detrimental to your health. Here it would be a fantastic addition for swimming in non highly chlorinated water like the swimming pool and free for all to use. With the correct landscaping it would have shade over it which is severely lacking in any swimming place in the area.

I grew up in the bay and I believe this be a beautiful attraction for the young, old and visitors to attend. Hervey Bay is beautiful but it needs more activities for everyone and this would be a great step up

It would be a great addition to our town. Many other bayside towns have lagoons.
They are great for those with disabilities, little kids, days when the tides have brought in all sorts of things like excessive seaweed or the itchies (lice), jelly fish etc.

We want a safe place to swim in the heat of summer
This will also create jobs
And we should get a say what happens in our town after all it’s our money that runs this place with the most expensive rates in the country
Many other large sea side cities have lagoons we want one also
Your all for progress and large high rise buildings let this be progress also
