Visited lombok this year, stunning! Seeing so much rubbish in the villages, on the shore and in the surf was a huge let down. I don’t think the government realises how much pollution is a turn off for tourism. Although the waves were awesome and the people and food incredible I’ll be choosing other places to holiday as surfing with so much plastic was disgusting. The wild dogs were also a problem, I wont be bringing my family until something is done. It does not feel safe with packs of dogs roaming around.
