Principal needs to be held accountable

Samuel Thya (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#1005

We cannot tolerate violence and violation of children’s right. I’m a parent myself. We should install camera in every childcare!

Sherlyn Qi (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#1006

Principal and other teachers would have known but chose to hide it instead of reporting to the police.

Chua Fu Qin (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#1014

Principal needs to rethink her career pathway shlod she think that the actions are normal

Lydia Lim (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#1016

The principal must hold accountability for siding the teacher who did such an evil act on the kids and even thinking that it’s ok to treat kids at such a young age in such manner. Kids at such a young age aren’t great at their words and yet those who stand up for them got either fired or brushed off. By siding the teacher just means that you agree to her doing in one way or another, so what are you teaching to the kids as a principal or even a human? The act of the teacher is inhumane, same to those (including the principal) who didn’t even stand up for the kids - you guys just traumatised the kids instead of being an angel to them. You guys don’t deserve to be called as teacher, but beast. If you guys don’t know how to behave as a professional then don’t call yourself a professional. The HQ will need to do something to reform the whole group and not condemn to such unacceptable behaviour from the teacher and even the principal as well as those who knew but did nothing to help. If the HQ just decided to turn a blind eye, then to be honest just close down. Because since the basic be kind isn’t there, how is the school going to bring up those kids that attended this school with the basic values of being a human?

Priscilla Goh (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#1017

I'm signing because it's child abuse and we being parents, sending our child to school is for them to be cared for and not being there to be abuse. It's just inhuman to do such things

Ranielle Chan (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#1019

This is outrageous and she shouldn’t be near any child! What a danger to them

Victoria Rebeca Tymosiewicz (Singapore, 2023-08-29)

#1023

It should be the Principal's responsibility to uphold the trust of parents to these vulnerable whom some yet know how to speak. This has been investigated since June yet no action or suspension of the suspect of mistreatment (some more got video shown to the the principal). Let's put black sheep out to regain trust.

Eejin Lim (Sg, 2023-08-30)

#1024

It is totally unacceptable for teacher to abuse children and for the Principal to do nothing and downplayed all the abusive incidents. Principal should be held responsible too. Please sack her.

lynn tan (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1025

A principal who CONDONES abuse and even protects the perpetrators are NOT FIT to be in the industry.

YUNI AZMAN (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1028

As a mother of a young child, it absolutely disgusts me to know that such devils call themselves teachers and take advantage of the vulnerability of the young children that working parents placed in their hands. The centre should not even be operating at this point in time. All the actions of teachers and the principal should not be condoned. More public pressure needs to be given for the relevant agencies to take swifter and more aggressive actions to protect our young and innocent children!!

Junling mak (singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1030

no child deserves to be treated like that

anqi chua (sg, 2023-08-30)

#1033

Accomplices need to be held responsible. We should not condone the actions of the principal who downplayed the events despite being fully aware of the extent of abuse and continuous concerns raised by parents.

B Mok (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1035

This behavior is unacceptable

Elsie Wong (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1040

I am a mother. I want a safe environment for my kid to learn.

Koh Jing Mian (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1042

Not qualified as an educator. Please quit.

Alan Ma (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1044

As a school leader, to watch such atrocities happen right under her nose and not do anything about it is an unforgivable crime. She has been entrusted with the lives of these little ones, but stood by and let them suffer. That alone proves she does not deserve to be principal. Shame on her.

Clarissa Teh (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1047

This principal need to bear responsibilities as yes it seems that she knowingly know what is gg on and still do this little to have things right!! This is your so-called zero tolerance towards child abused?!?!

Jovyna Kong (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1049

Its unacceptable behavior to have such Teachers exist! Seeing the video on how the children is being treated is so heartbreaking! This should be taken lightly!

Nurul Jannab (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1053

校长没有责任感,不配当校长.

Xiaoli Mao (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1056

Such behaviour cannot be condoned

Catherine Yong (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1057

i hate child abuser

Christian Burhan (singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1059

This principle is far from a competent teacher. She ignores her staff treat kids like this. Fail to meet the basic teacher standard.

Lu Liu (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1064

No kids should ever be treated like this. Whatever the reasons being, the teacher and principal should be punished.

Shantini Raj (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1068

I'm signing this because I agree the principal should be fired too.

Kristin Teo (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1076

This is not RIGHT! The children are not able to defence themselves at this age, we cannot allow this to happen at all. If Mothers have a choice, they would want to stay home with the child but circumstances doesnt permit it. Hence a great amout of trust is put into the Organisation, Centres, Principal and Teachers. The least they can do is to honour their responsibility. Parents are not paying peanuts for the school fees to have their child treated in such a barbaric manner.

Ria Mahadi (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1081

Unethical educators who don't like children should resign and banned from being educators for life

DAWN Teo (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1083

Because the principle is incompetent to be a pre school principle.

Gary Lau (Kuala Lumpur, 2023-08-30)

#1085

I’m signing this simply because the principal should be accountable in the proliferation of such act over a prolonged period. The principal has (1) failed to provide a safe environment for the vulnerable kids. (2) taken the trust from the society and parents for granted. (3) failed to investigate the case despite the availability of cctv (4) demonstrate due diligence in ensuring the quality of staff and service rendered (5) affecting the name and faith in the industry / country (6) negatively impacting the young professionals who are passionate and new to the job. (7) profit driven w no remorse towards the families, radio silence since the event.

His/her actions should be heavily prosecuted to condone such malicious act.

Charlene Chong (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1089

I want Principal to resign

Zarina Zakaria (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1093

I am signing this petition because the safety and well-being of children should always be a top priority. No child should ever have to endure abuse, and it's crucial that those responsible for their care are held accountable. As a parent who plans to send my son to preschool in the future, this incident has deeply worried me and made me wary of the quality of preschool teachers in Singapore. By signing this petition, I hope to support the call for justice, accountability, and the removal of the abusive teacher from their position.

Joy Lee (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1094

For the protection of the children in the childcare from abuse by the teacher of the daycare

Danial Kamal (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1095

I'm signing this because ' Singapore should be a safe country '. How does this made us feel safe? Our little ones are being tortured, traumatised and we should not let this continue!! Bring it Up!!! So embarassing to have this type of school organization then take this matter lightly.

Ila Adi (singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1096

So sad to see the children were treated this way.

See Keng Cheng (Choa Chu Kang, 2023-08-30)

#1099

this is a serious event, higher authorities need to take action

SIE GODWIN (SINGAPORE, 2023-08-30)

#1102

She doesn’t put the child safety at first priority.

Carrie Gan (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1104

I’m a mother of a 3 year old and as an educator myself, I cannot condone such behaviour especially when the perpetrator is an educator herself towards young children who are defenceless and can’t speak up for the themselves.

She has crossed the line. This is abuse, no child deserve to be abused in this manner.

This is unforgivable.

Lyn Yan (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1106

She has brought in bad name to many preschool teachers who are passionate about this Job. I am a preschool teacher too. I am super angry and upset over this incident. The parents trust us to leave their little ones and yet she ABUSED THEM. SAD!!!!

Cybil Annoni (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1113

Please be more fair and patient to the toddlers. The so called principal and that fxxking teacher should deserve the punishment coz they never do their role and set good example.

Doris Tay (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1114

Signing to send the bad teacher to learnt the lesson

Tan Chongyit (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1116

Such behaviour is unacceptable, much less of someone in a leadership position, with authority over helpless and hapless young children. Not taking action is the same as condoning the abuse.

Xin Ying (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1118

This is unacceptable! Abusing innocent kids and getting away with it.

Mabelle YingYin (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1120

It’s a clear mismanagement on principal’s end.

Bow Puapunkasamsuk (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1121

This should not be condoned. As a Centre Prinicpal, she should ensure all her staff has maintained and adhered to ECDA's code of conduct. She has openly allowed this to happen despite being informed by other members of the staff. Her qualification should be revovked on one@ecda to prevent her from taking any other leadership or teaching position in a school.

Kelynn Ong (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1131

I against child abused.

Faizal Ahmad (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

I a grandma of 3 boys How can a principle keep quiet on the teacher that abuse the kids. She need to resign.

Michelle Ho (Singapore, 2023-08-30)

#1136

I want the principal to be terminated and justice to be served, May she be jailed. KINDERLAND to close down.

Kayenne Lim (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1137

This is pure devil behaviour portrayed by the educator. As an infant-care/child educator, you should be more nurturing, patient, & dedicated towards the kids you’re looking after ! The whole place should close down , to prevent such instances from occurring ever again ! How do we parents entrust our kids to educators when such behaviours exist ?! Such a barbarism behaviour ! I hope ECDA does the necessary !

Nuurul Jannah (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1139

I am against abuse of children and pets as they cannot defend themselves.

Jacqueline Lim (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1146

Children are vulnerable and unable to speak for themselves. All care givers must take full responsibility and authorities should intervene into this flawed system.

Jolene Zhang (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1147

Poor management and refusal to listen from feedback causing the continual abuse of helpless kids.

Mohamed Shahid Ahmad (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1149

we need to protect our kids from evil ppl like these!!

Esther Chia (SINGAPORE, 2023-08-31)

#1152

This is totally a child abuse

Nina Chiam (Sg, 2023-08-31)

#1153

She does not deserve to be an early childhood educator. For downplaying the abusive situation in her childcare centre, she ought to be punished by the law and by God.

Janice A (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1155

The principal has be held responsible and have her license revoked. She is not in any capacity to be near children.

Eeleen Tay (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1156

Even way before this thing happened. My toddler kinderland class at (YCK) I saw with my own eyes a young teacher in my child class pulled another child hand so hard the boy cried inconsolably.

I immediately report this to the principal, and you know what? They said no cameras inside all classes, the teacher kept on asking when and where did I saw it, deny & deny cry crocodile tears she even get away with it!

And the next thing you know, they drew up all the curtains. I called them to open up they open but close back after the next following day which they never did before.

Hence results in changing school. Since more than 1 year, my child still very fearful going to school.

L Ash (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1163

Mahirah Yasid, principal of Kinderland Woodlands Mart has demonstrated her incompetence, arrogance, lack of empathy and moral values.

James Koh (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1165

There is no way a child educator should treat a child toddler like this, especially they couldn't speak up for themselves. The principal who oversee the whole school is not doing anything about it, no excuse, as this abuse issue has been a norm in the school. No one is stopping what that teacher was doing and it seen like it's already a culture there. Now even strapping down the toddler on the chair..pls seriously look into this.

Janice Liang (Singapore, 2023-08-31)

#1166
