It must have been a traumatic experience and you are showing incredible strength in the face of this event. Please remember that you have done and are doing nothing wrong, the whole community is here to support you.
We need AT to address why the driver allowed such a dangerous weapon on board and why the situation escalated without intervention. And how about the driver’s conduct during this incident? No intervention whatsoever and even asked you the victim to leave ? It is not just the lack of conflict management training but simple moral compass.
At the meantime please make sure you have received appropriate medical support and seek legal advice on your rights as the victim of this event.
