Billy and Vinny are good men who.have been standing up for all of us and are getting the truth out there. Lockdowns have been proven to do more harm than good. These two men have committed no crimes and they are being victimized .John Hieatt (Whangārei, 2023-04-04)

I am signing this petition as the arrest of Billy and Vinny contravenes Section 16 of the New Zealand Bill of Rights -"Freedom of peaceful assembly, Everyone has the right to freedom of peaceful assembly."The COVID-19 Public Health Response Act completely violates our rights and has overridden our democratic rights.
The right to assemble is an unalienable right of every man and woman and is fundamental to a democracy. If the Government can write a law that prohibits people from protesting then obviously the Government has become a dictatorship.
Mary Byrne (Featherston, 2023-04-04)

New Zealand is (was?) a democracy whereby evey Kiwi has the freedom to protest against anything they disagree with. The Parliament protest was peaceful and legal and criminalising attendees of that protest is an outright breach of the power given to this govt by the people who voted them in.Jude Bignell (Levin, 2023-04-04)

I'm repulsed at the corruption with this so called government. And their criminal destruction of our once free nation. This sentence passed on these two righteous men is absolutely insane. No victims= no crime.Kyn Darrah (Whangarei, 2023-04-05)
#22
Because they have committed no crime and the fact they were even charged is an injustice the sentence in court was predetermined the judge was reading from a scriptHoward Lee (Maungaturoto, 2023-04-05)

The govt and judiciary in NZ are corrupt. There charges are null and void, covid virus has never been isolated. Zero covid act. Stop embarrassing NZ. Wrong people on trial here. Crimes against humanity and tribunals are awaiting the true perpetrators.Anahera Pedersen (Waikato, 2023-04-05)
#38
New Zealanders are supposed to have protection to freedom of movement and beliefs under the Bills of Rights. It is about time the Courts started upholding these unalienable rights. No-one was hurt by their actions. There is no victim. Politicians broke Covid guidelines during lockdowns and they didn't even lose their jobs let alone faced any criminal convictions. Real criminal acts with actual victims get lesser sentences than this. Disgusting! I am ashamed to call myself a New Zealander due to the current woke madness running this country into the gutter.LINDA GARDNER-LEE (Ruatangata West, 2023-04-05)

#55
I am signing this because we live in a country who’s judicial system is corrupt. The law has been designed to favour those with money, affluence and power; while those who do not have these privileges, are made to be an example. In these last two to three years, I have seen time and time again the ‘small’ men and women who have being caught up in this bent system. They are being silenced. They are being treated like criminals. They are not. They are trying to uphold their Human Rights.
I have lost all faith in the judiciary. The corruption in New Zealand, is everywhere; not just in this system of control.
Maria Smith (Paeroa, 2023-04-05)

I support these two good men. They were exercising their right to stand for what they believe in. As we know now the lockdowns didn’t prevent deaths it caused them, higher suicides, small business to close, homelessness and the list goes on. Billy and Vinnie had every right to protest peacefully under the Bill of Rights. I believe the Government jailed them to make an example of them to stop others standing up for their rights. We don’t live in a democratic country any more.

I am appalled at the continued persecution of people who are just trying to put the truth out there and this government just continues to follow a narrative that is being exposed all over the world which proves these 2 men were correct. This government better back down or they will be taken to court one day themselves... and they are the guilty ones, not these 2 men....donna buck (Waimamaku, 2023-04-06)

#103
The whole covid 19 debacle has seen the rights of New Zealanders completely trampled on in a ''Totalitarian'' nature by our government and institutions. These people had a right to peacefully protest and the lockdowns and masking did little other than delaying the inevitable spread of the disease. Given the current understanding of the ineffectiveness of these measures and the harm done by the Jab, governments should now being apologizing to these people rather than continuing to pursue vindictive charges that appear to be based on seeking revenge for a departure from the government narrative.Paul Robertson (Lower Hutt, 2023-04-07)

This is totally political and not a true justice system. I used to admire New Zealand, thinking that they were an honest and good people. Letting criminals go and locking up peaceful protesters is showing a very ugly side of you. Please give them the same kind of judgment you would have given someone 10 years earlier for a peaceful protest. Possibly no judgment was needed whatsoever. Wake up for you are selling your souls to the devilIf the vaccines truly worked with all the lockdowns you would not have seen the mass of deaths with all of your vaccines and lockdowns. Open your eyes and see the truth. You have good people in this country. But apparently not in politics

the NZ government has trampled on the NZ Bill of Rights Act since the Plandemic was pushed on citizens of the world starting in 2019. Billy Te Kahika was exercising his rights of free expression under the NZ BORA. The same govt oppressing and censoring Billy and VInny has also ruthlessly suppressed doctors, dentists, nurses, teachers, midwives, police and military professionals who speak against the NZ govt narrative. There is no open discussion of Plandemic facts in this country by govt or the hired gun media. People were forced to take a dangerous experimental mRNA therapy or lose their jobs. The government will not release the terms of the Pfizer agreement on the sale and provision of its mRNA products. The vaccine-injured are left to suffer without support from the govt that forced them to be injected with an experimental drug. Independent scientific papers are ignored or suppressed if they challenge govt lies. Eminent scientists and doctors are smeared, suppressed, ignored, fired. Front line medical staff testimony is ignored by this govt and its bought-off media. This situation is intolerable in a so-called democracy.Pam Parsons (Auckland, 2023-04-29)

A miscarriage of Justice has taken place in this case, and if not corrected, sets a precedence that will have far reaching ramifications. New Zealanders need to see Justice is carried out without prejudice and political & personal agenda's being pursued. I believe the later is reflected in this case - a miscarriage of Justice that needs to be rectified. Freedom of speech, the Freedom to Peaceful Protest and the Bill of Rights take precedence. No lives were at stake or lost as a result of the peaceful protest that took place.Gavriel Bootel (Auckland, 2023-06-14)
