To protect and serve???
We the people of various communities, and cities. Have just lost a brother, who was struck down crossing the street in Grand Junction Co. His name was Andrew Kerezman, he was 30 yrs old, and was from the Chicago/Indiana area. He was of the traveling community, and meant alot to alot of people. Because he was a "traveler", his like many others death in this community are ill handled by the police, swept under the rug, and forgotton. We do not want his passing to go with out justice/closure, so we are making this petition.
We are asking everyone to help us with getting in touch with the Cheif of police in Grand Juntion, The Mayor, and the Media. We need to request documentation, of the incident, and make sure the city/Police fallowed all mandatory guidlines, and that they dont get away with the injustice/murder of Andrew Kezerman. The incident took place in Grand Junction Colorado, Aug 22 2014, the location was on 6th and Grand.
The news paper is stating the driver is not charged with anything, and as we were on scene witnessed, the police never breathalized the driver. We fear Andrew is being profiled for being a "transient", and thus we have faced nothing but insensitiveness from the Police/Hospital pertaining to this incident.
We also reqest a full apology from the City/Hospital, and a full investigation of the entire incident.
