Youtube to unban Musician / Comedian / Singer / Songwriter Foundring

, an extremely talented ragtime pianist, comedian, singer, and songwriter, was banned from YouTube estimated in early 2024, resulting in the loss of his 16-year-old channel, tens of thousands of subscribers, and millions of views. The ban occurred suspiciously after he uploaded a song critiquing Dr. Anthony Fauci and COVID-19 vaccine policies, which is now openly discussed in US Congress public session. By signing this petition, you endorse the following statement of events and call for his reinstatement on YouTube based on his rights to free expression. To the Signees: Any data you provide adds validity to the cause and shows YouTube that it isn't a bunch of bots filling this out. Foundring built a YouTube channel over 16 years, amassing a significant following for his ragtime performances and original songs, which often include political satire. Early 2024, YouTube removed his channel entirely, citing a violation of their Community Guidelines. The ban seems to have stemmed from a specific song targeting Fauci and vaccine mandates, though YouTube did not publicly specify the exact policy breach. This action erased his full archive, including non-political works like live piano scores for silent films, and disrupted his ability to reach his audience on the platform.

As Foundring is a U.S. citizen, he is protected by the First Amendment, which guarantees the right to free speech, including artistic expression and political critique. While we recognize YouTube, as a private company, can set its own rules, the complete removal of his channel—without clear explanation or recourse—disproportionately punishes his exercise of these rights. His 25,000+ followers on X demonstrate ongoing support for his work, yet he remains excluded from YouTube, a key platform for musicians. This petition seeks his reinstatement to restore his ability to share his talent and viewpoints, consistent with principles of free expression.

Given that youtube allows accounts like https://www.youtube.com/@SpookyScarySocialist which have videos promoting Communism with almost 2 million views, it begs the question if his censorship was politically motivated beyond a breach of terms of service.

With this in mind, we the undersigned request the restoration of Foundring's account  https://www.youtube.com/user/foundring and an explanation be given as to the nature of his initial censorship.
