Banning of fireworks
Every year animals die and get hurt or injured due to fireworks. Even though we have bylaws stating that no fireworks may be used in residential areas, the SAPS and Metro police don't enforce these laws. People waste money on fireworks, especially the poor, causing their families to struggle even more in January.
Firework doesn't only affect pets, but also wild animals - stop the importing and selling of fireworks and start enforcing bylaws.
