NU has provided us listeners and musicians alike a medium to vent out against the disease of society called conformity for 23 friggin' years! The radio station has also symbolized the only remaining pillar of rock amidst the sea of mainstream and/or jologs radio stations in the country today. The mere fact that it went under means it's really the end of rock as we know it. Fewer people of future generations would be exposed to the music that we have grown to love and appreciate.

High school pa lang ako, NU na ko, alarm clock ko pa nga yan sa radio ko… I have my own kid now, and sa bahay, sa office, sa celphone, sa car stereo, NU is the only station I listen to… My kid even bangs his head when I’m listening to NU... My day won't be complete without NU...

Please, keep on ROCKING!!!

Me and my wife passed NU 107 last Sunday, we saw the large crowd outside but then we thought that they are just having a concert or something, I didn't realize that It's going to be their last day until we got home and saw an article about the station closing down on yahoo. I was shock from what I learned, the only station that I've been listening for the past 13 years will now be closed, the station that introduced me to rock will now be gone and the station who taught me about artists like tool, apc, stone roses, thursday and deftones who has been a big influence in my life will now become history. D*MN, I still can't accept it and It has been breaking my heart since Sunday. There was this article saying that NU is just a radio station and closing it won't have much effect. Well, Son of B*tch. Maybe she didn't know where I'm coming from or we’re all coming from, NU is the only authority when it comes to real rock music here in the Philippines, it didn't only affect my life but it also influenced my brother who is a musician by heart and It's where you listen to if you want to know more about rock. But I guess, all good things must come to an end or it just occurred in the most unexpected moment, when we all thought that this won't ever happen. Life won't be the same without you NU, It's sad that my daughter won't have a chance to listen to you anymore; we'll just probably wait for your reincarnation then. ADIOS NU, till we meet again.

We truly appreciate that Atom Henares made us happy all those years by keeping Rock music alive through NU. U made millions of people happy, being the only rock music-oriented radio station! And we're proud of u coz' we all know that deep inside u, it hurts to loose one thing which makes millions of people happy, Specially Urself. Ur radio station is Ur personality and i know ur one of us (a ROCKSTER)! U have ur needs and we can't giv em all! We may loose the station but not the Solid Rock that NU formed deep in our hearts! Keep Rockin' Atom, We all will find another way to ROCK! more power to you!

nu107 is now deeply rooted in me......don't know pa'no na bukas

damn those advertisement rigged stations, nu107 will be a class of its own, dapat di cla padadala sa mainstream formatting ng rock music industry.... sa'n na ba etong "iba ang may pinagsamahan" na'to......dapat spearhead nla ang preservation of this heritage ng pinoy musik.....
