Too many great musicians are being overlooked and neglected who should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
I feel that it is time to let our voices be heard and get ELO and more of the other great bands inducted while the musicians are still alive!

please let this group get inducted.with george harrisons endorsement of if the beatles would have continued through the 1970's and 80's other than the music?this would be the group to pick up where the beatles were limited to what they used to do on stage and elo could do both recording and play the stuff live with the strings?plus george was able to work with jeff lynne on solo stuff and in the traveling wilburys.jeff would also help george,paul,and ringo help finish johns 2 unfinished songs and treat it as if john was on holiday trusting the guys to finish the songs instead of a negative of what happened in dec,1980 outside of lennons n.y.c. home.jeff lynne still plays on occasion with long time keyboardist richard tandy in new elo gigs while drummer bev bevan and past elo 1 and 2 members play in bevs groups.too bad the lineups could not join together and play if they ever would get the nod to be inducted in cleveland,ohio even with 2 band members deceased?

ELO is an iconic band that has been overlooked for induction for far too long. Please rectifying this and give them their rightful place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

ELO and Jeff Lynne are completely original.
You do not hear of their music being copied or covered and that must make ELO and Jeff Lyne unique.
If I was on a desert Island, I could not be without these fantastic arrangements.

I'm surprised that ELO isn't already in the Hall of Fame! Their music was so awesome and I'd love to hear some new songs! Music is to some people like air or food is to others.ELO rocked me to sleep at night and had me dancing through school! Please induct ELO it is WAY overdue. Thank you.

This has been long overdue, ELO are a massive band with thousands of fans across the Globe, So with this alone they should be Inducted into the Rock N Roll hall of fame its time they were and its fully deserved.

Its a joke that a man that has created so many hits for himself and others including The Beatles is not there. Tom Petty rates him the best all round musician he has ever met.
How many people in the Hall of fame can write, produce, play most instruments and make great music one after the other?

It does not make any sense that Electric Light Orchestra is not in the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame. They are a Shoe-In.

But not if only Jeff is recognised and invited to attend. He may have been the lead for much of its success but their distinctive sound was a collective effort. The recent Hyde Park gig evidenced this, technical reproduction was spot on as one would expect from a perfectionist producer but it lacked the harmonies and edge of the full ELO.

They are stunning, iconiv, makers if unbelievably brilliant musuc. Their shows were magical and their albums Nirvana!
