My son deacon has attend this nursery since he was 20 mths old I had just come out of an abusive relationship with his dad and he was starting to be abusive towards me at was at the point of suicide but thanks to the wonderful staff at the nursery and childrens centre both my boys and my life have changed dramatically for the better.My elder son Kai-Lewis is now starting to do really well at school and Deacon is a funloving 4 yr old.Without this service many children in this area will suffer greatly.

There is a small protest in the planning on Monday morning at 8:30/9:00am outside the Dovecot MAC - just trying to get the media along. Need to get people who pass it every day aware of what's going on. Protest about all council cuts outside town hall on march 2nd at 4pm

Without this service many children and parents will suffer greatly.

the staff are lovely and they really care for the children in the care. they are good at what they do.

i trust them completly with my daughter...

This nursery must be subsidised. It is an oasis for young children amidst an area which needs all the help and support it can get. The cost of this nursery will be a drop in the ocean compared to the long term costs of it's closure.
This nursery has the potential to give a positive start to children who may otherwise have no future. If it closes we may well see more vandalism, abuse, mental health problems, crime, alcoholism, drug abuse, unemployment; the list goes on. The negative impact of it's closure may have far reaching repurcussions into the community and drastically affect the lives of children and families who use the service.
Please do not cut this life line.
