Teaching is more than just a job to him. He truly cares for his students and wants to see them all exceed. He is very dedicated and deserves a position at CCHS!

Mr Hammond is a great teacher! They could've cut others that don't help & just show powerpoints. I'm so thankful for hammond. He'll help you with anything you need. #saveHammond

I had him in his student teaching phase and even then you could tell how great he was and how much he really cared...

Too many times policy and pride are placed before the needs and welfare of our young people and when we have a chance to help and encourage them for "Success:Every Student, Every Day" , then it falls our responsibilty to lay these things aside for our "TOMORROW".

I signed because it's an absolute crime to let a teacher go one day before tenure, especially one so obviously valuable to his students.

I agree! What the people in power need to remember is that these students, parents, and community own this school, and should have a say in what is going on. Obviously, these students love and value this teacher. One day shy of tenure is absolutely horrendous!

Mr. Hammond is one of the few good teachers at CCHS. If the school really wanted what's best for the students they would keep him.
